Presents Embroidery TNT

On May 20, 2008, the Sew & Quilt Stores hosted the Embroidery TNT at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Belton, Texas.  Over fifty women and men attended the event  led by Kristia Smith and Holly Brown from Bernina USA. 

This event was a jam packed full day of embroidery instruction, inspiration, and hands on practice.  Kristia led the group to work on five different embroidery projects.  She introduced and demonstrated Bernina's  Designer's Plus Embroidery Design Software.  She revealed placement techniques, tips for using different stabilizers, and generally provided everyone with practical knowledge to make their embroidery projects more fun, interesting, and successful. 

Everyone had fun and even asked that we do this same event again next year. 

Eight staff members of the Sew & Quilt Stores also attended providing support and encouragement for participants.  Cherish Hand managed the event store with the aid of Bernina's Holly Brown.  Jeremiah Trumble provided needed assistance whenever minor divulgates arose.   Mary Ann Bunke and her husband did a great job catering the event.

Sew & Quilt Stores (Killeen, Temple, and Waco Texas) provide an extensive offering of special events, classes, workshops, and clubs for sewers and quilters.  June 13, they will host  a similar regional event with Hatched In Africa, a famous sister team of embroidery designers.
