FAQ
Q: Do I bring my machine or do you supply the machine?
A: Most people will be bringing
their own. However, if you need one, we will do our
best
to supply one for you. Let us know well in advance so we can make the
arrangements.
Q:
Can you give me an idea what the classes include or what are they?
A:
The classes will be led by Hatched In Africa a highly popular sewing and
embroidery company originating from South Africa. The classes will include
detailed instruction; step by step guidance through the project of the day.
Then there will be actual hands on sewing and embroidering to complete the
projects. Prior to the even you will receive a package of designs and
instructions to set up your machine. Most people will be bringing their
own machines, however, if you need one we will be happy to provide a machine for
the event. During the 8AM hour and during the 7-9 PM we plan some special
demonstrations, possibly a digitizing class, and other activities, but details
for these will follow as we get closer to the event. Projects will
include a stunning table topper, breadcloth, and other accessories all done in
gorgeous soothing colors on 100% linen. Techniques will include: cutwork,
revese applique, and a joining technique called faggoting. See Photos

Q: Can we get a refund if needed?
A. Yes, Prior to April 15, 2010 and Prior to distribution of
the designs we will issue a refund upon request. After that date, we can
not issue any refunds because all contracts for Hotel and Guest Presenters will
have been finalized. All funds will be obligated.
Q: Will we get the designs before the event?
A: Yes, Designs will be sent to each
paid-in-full attendee by email. This is the reason each registrant's email
address and machine format requirements when you register. The designs
will be sent out after the cut-off date for registration, but in time for you to
load them on your machine.
Q: What supplies and tools do we need?
A: After registration closes, we will
send designs and a complete supply list to each paid registrant. We
will also have a mini-store set up at the event in case you need anything.
Fabrics and the kits are included in the registration fee.

A: Out of consideration for
those with sensitivity to strong perfumes, we encourage everyone to refrain from
using strong perfumes during the event. Thank you.
